Marketplace Signals provides AWS Marketplace seller-opportunity sample and pilot reports. This page explains how the public site handles information when you browse it, submit a sample or pilot form, or email us.
Information We Collect
Both forms ask for your work email address. The pilot form also asks for your company website and selected AWS Marketplace categories.
When you submit either form, it also sends a random request identifier, campaign or referral details included in the page URL, the referring page address when your browser provides it, and, when Turnstile is enabled on the form, a Cloudflare Turnstile verification token. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
We store the request and referral details, request and delivery timestamps and status, email-provider message identifiers, and unsubscribe state needed to operate the sample and pilot delivery flow.
How We Use It
We use this information to verify form submissions, prevent duplicate requests, deliver the report you requested, configure pilot reports for the selected categories, operate and troubleshoot report delivery, reply to you, and record unsubscribe requests.
A sample request sends one email with the sample report attached and a link to the pilot page. A pilot request sends an initial report and then daily reports during the 7-day pilot.
Email Delivery and Opting Out
Every sample and pilot report email includes the same tokenized HTTPS unsubscribe URL in its message headers and email body. When the HTTPS unsubscribe request is successfully processed, we record that report delivery to that email address is stopped and do not send later scheduled pilot reports. Unsubscribing does not remove emails already delivered or automatically delete the related request and delivery records.
If an unsubscribe option does not work, contact [email protected].
Service Providers
We use Cloudflare to serve the site and, when enabled on a form, protect it from automated abuse with Turnstile; Amazon Web Services to receive and process submissions and store request, report, and delivery records; and Mailgun to send report emails and attachments. These providers receive the information needed to perform those functions.
On forms where it is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical browser and network signals such as the client IP address, browser information, and site origin to provide and improve bot detection. Cloudflare explains when it acts on our behalf and when it processes those signals for its own purposes in the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
To deliver a report, Mailgun receives the recipient email address and the full email message, including its subject, message body, unsubscribe information, and XLSX attachment.
Analytics
We have not configured Google Analytics or advertising pixels. Apart from the Cloudflare site and Turnstile processing described above, the public site does not currently add a separate audience analytics tool.
Retention and Requests
Request, delivery, and opt-out records are stored without a published fixed retention period. There is no self-service deletion tool. To ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy question, email [email protected]. We handle these requests manually.
